If you didn't have to actually see this sausage getting made it doesn't look bad. 75+% ft shooting, good fg shooting, dominate on boards, three in double figures and two more with nine. Please, find out who these refs are and lock them away, even though our free throwing won the game. This couldn't have been entertaining for the 1700+ fans who actually sat through this.
It wasn't very entertaining. I think the number of fouls, outnumbered the amount of field goals.
I went to a DIII game the other day in Wisconsin. They called a total of 8 fouls in the first half. One team had 5 the other had 3. All the fouls were "on the ball" fouls, instead of this off the ball B.S. The flow of the game was very enjoyable.
Let 'em play, refs!!!
Of the 4 fouls called on Beran, 3 were "off the ball".
You missed a heck of dunk. Kai really played well the last half. His shots weren't dropping right away, but he was very agressive. I love to see that. Tell him to keep it up Mama Williams.
You can see Berte is gaining his strenght back in his knee. He was big on the boards tonight. Had to sit the in vehicle and listen to him on the radio. Really liked his answers. "I love my teammates. I love the coaching staff."
The other part about the game I really liked was the spreading out of the scoring. Kai came through in the second half. The team was shooting good from the free throw line. Good hustle for rebounds.
I agree with you on the fouls 2002jack. There were some worse fouls that should have been called and you just dropped your jaw on some that actually were. It was for both teams but still.
Over? Did you say "over"? Nothing is over until we decide it is! Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? Hell no!--Bluto--

I saw Kai on the wing about half court and no one from Idaho was paying attention to him at all. I was worried the Idaho player coming from his left might foul him and stop the dunk.

The flow of the game was not what we experienced on Wednesday against U of Mn but I think our guys are still doing some great things from time to time. A win is a win. I believe the Idaho Coach has some problems with his best Player Brooks No 32. Brooks got in foul trouble and he sat for a good portion of the game with 4 fouls. When he tried to put himself back in the game, one of the assistants grab him and pulled him back to the bench, Then when he was back in he must have done something as the coach yanked him and we did not seem in the rest of the game or did he commit his fifth? None the less, Idaho has some talent I think. Nagle from Potlatch, at times looked like he could be very affective, but towards the end his threes did not go down and it seemed like they just gave up towards the end.
I glad we dont have to play them again, as they seem to affect our moral and send it in a tailspin.

Was good to see Dad and the boys in the stands, but we missed you Mrs. W! When Kai caught the pass, he was standing near us and I honestly think he thought somebody from Idaho was behind him, because he turned rather slowly, saw the basket was wide open and took off like a "REAL" Jackrabbit!!! Lots of fouls made it tedious, but there were bad calls on both sides, and the guys finished like you would want them to do. GO JACKS!
I went to the game and it was one of the slowest games I have witnessed. The refs were terrible. For both sides. They called one blocking foul on one of the jacks and I know he had stood there for 5 seconds before the other guy hit him. It was a good victory, but a very hard game to watch. Definately not one of there better performances but better to get a win with a subpar game. Main thing is pulling it out. Just seemed like they were a little flat. Nothing like the Minnesota game but maybe they were just let down after that game as I thought they played an outstanding game in Minn. Great slam by Kai. Just seemed like they were low on energy...
Just got back to Yankton from the game...Good win, many fouls. With a couple minutes left there were 45 called and I know there must have been 50 +/- for the game. No rythm in this game at all. Nagy called it a grinder. Thought Kai did a good job tonight. Beran couldn't touch anyone. Palarca added a little first half spark. Too many easy inside baskets allowed.
Highlight of the game was getting to sit next to TV's wife and little girl. What a pleasant lady and sweet kid.
Finally, BlueHat. What is that belt you are wearing? Looks like WBA or WBF title belt!
It was one of those games in which we (my wife and I commented on this) felt like we were in control and were going to win even though the score was often a two-point margin. We played down to Idaho's level which often happens in sports.
There were some bright spots. The bottom line: we won. We found a way to win and that's all I cared about tonight.
The team will find ways to win many games.
Go Jackrabbits.
Jacks did a nice job grinding out this win regardless of the refs attempt to control the tempo. The crowd lacked energy and did not provide the players much of a home court advantage tonight.
