    Re: UW-Green Bay

Great report on the UWM game...gave rep points on that one.

The weatherman is using scare tactics for tomorrow. I'm hopeful the snow arrives in the morning, gets pushed around and off the roads by afternoon because I'm going to the game and I hope thousands show up.

Gonna take an inch of ice and a closed interstate to keep me home from Brookings tomorrow. Time to update the winter survival kit.

Well I have just confirmed with Kai that we will not be able to come down Kai's Dad is working, and I tried to get a friend to drive with me but it was not meant to be, so I will be cheering hard from behind the PC..

It is also Back of the Bus fan night after the game for all the coaches and players families so if you see Kai give him a high five from us or a hug I'll leave that up to you

Oh that would be great my Sister and all our family in ENGLAND were able to watch that , plus all our friends in the Texas area, we really appreciate the time someone took to do that.

MD....at the beginning of the year I had you pegged as a "fair weather" fan....but your post the past 24 hours proves you are nothing close to that!

Well, we have freezing rain right now. Just barely made it from the hospital over to the clinic. Unless the weather improves by tonight, slap the "fair weather" label back on me. I'm not going to try to make with freezing rain covering the road.

One of the nurses thought she heard that Green Bay might not be able to make it to Brookings. Can anyone provide any info? Did Green Bay get to town last night?

I have not heard anything about GB not making it to Brookings. Woke up to about 3 inches of snow on the ground in Brookings. Forecast is clear and still. Clear up to you know where and still coming.

Just took a little trip outside of SF and around SF. I've got AWD and really it's not that bad, but it's probably going to take you twice as long to get to B-Town but that would be my only worry. Visibility is really good though and the temp isn't bad.
                    I've plowed through worse.

Green Bay got into Brookings on Friday so no worries there.

Still snowing lightly in Brookings. We have about 3 or 4 inches. Roads appear to be in pretty good shape.

Problem being I don't have twice as long. I've got to finish up at the hospital and it will be close to 4 pm before I am done. Thats going to make it nearly impossible for me to get to Frost in time. Granted, I could listen to WNAX all the way back and not miss a beat. I'm tempted but I think Summit TV is going to get my attention tonight.

Roads are really sloppy around Yankton. When this stuff freezes I think I want to be home. I've got a daughter in Watertown today cheering for a wrestling tourney and will be coming home between 11:00 and midnight, so I better be home in case there are any problems. I'll watch it on the Summitt package. Really wanted to go, but will have to catch the next one.

I should have checked for their bus at the Staurlite last night when I was there. Could have 'accidently' made some noise in the halls at 2 am when I was leaving the bar and wake them up. Nah, I wouldn't do that. :-)
Over? Did you say "over"? Nothing is over until we decide it is! Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? Hell no!--Bluto--

Good start so far but need to keep the one guard from driving the lane.
