Do other school's fans spend this much time re-hashing a game like this? It was an ugly W plain and simple. Wish it could have been better, it wasn't. No clue what the team will look like next time out, that's part of the excitement of following 18-23 year olds lives...they're unpredictable.

Someone can correct me on this if I'm wrong but, the Summit League has a rule about not allowing artificial noise makers at the games. So since this our first year, no cowbells.

For football we are in the Great West Football Conference and there is no such rule, however next year we will be in the Gateway Conference and I have no idea what their rules are.

Hope this is correct

The rule will be strictly enforced in the arenas of all Summit schools. Whether the Gateway has such a rule, I'm not sure...but I doubt it will be strictly enforced. However, we shall see. In the meantime, I'll keep ringing!!! UCA security told me I couldn't ring my bell down there either, but after asking to see somebody from the athletic department, and having a conversation about the batons used by the students, they (graciously...yeh right) relented and the bell continued to ring!

My final words: Work in Progress, a youthful team with talent. Lets be patient, there are many games remaining and yet to have been played. I stand by the coach and current roster as any major change would be a set back from where we are now. The roster is here to not only perform on the floor but also to get an education. This not the NBA and not even the CBA that includes the Sioux Falls Skyf*rts. Somehow we seem to throw the men's bb program in with the pros who make millions and if they make a mistake, we can instantenously take their head off and have it for lunch.

Pioneers in the "area" of national championships, huh. OK. Grammar check: You don't "fair" against somebody. You "fare" against somebody. Proper usage of "fair": USD's teams, in general, are "fair".

Now we have to listen to the same garbage about basketball that we listened to all football season? (At least until your football team fell into the abyss... then you disappeared, of course.) I'm really, really tired of this stuff. We don't play USD. We've got Montana next on Saturday night. You've got Dana, Truman, and Chadron. Awesome.
