Keep in mind that in pregame Nagy said he wasn't concerned with the score for this game, he just wanted to try things and see where things were at (or something to that effect, I don't remember his exact words, other than he wasn't concerned with the final score.

You're right on this. He's been playing everyone pretty much evenly except for a couple. No sets and haven't pushed the ball down low enough. I was there in the first half and had to leave quickly and jumped on here to check it out. We look good and I'd expect good things this year. Don't look too much into the score of this game. There is intensity but it's more like Midnight Minus Two.
This is a team that should be our best in years. There should be no excuses. People have been patient and given the team the benefit of the doubt for the various bad luck scenarios that the team has gon through, but those should be in the past.

But then again..it is DWU? We should be beating them no matter who's on the floor.
I know its just the first game, but at some point we have to quit saying be patient. If our past success is to be emulated we have to have realistic but high standards or we can be now happy with terrible results.
Can't shoot freethrows keep turning over the ball.... sounds like a poor hs team.... People have to understand that DWU is an undersized NAIA team so they are use to this zone defense they are playing....
It does sound like Nagy is using the game to study and experiment...I guess that's why we have exhibition games. But, boy, it's hard to listen to the errors etc.

Again, if this wasn't exhibition I would be saying the same thing, but really, we are talkin' about exhibition...not regular season...exhibition...we talkinl about exhibition...(sorry, AI moment).
