Palarca seems to really add a defensive spark. I've heard good things about him (and Sargent) and both look like they'll be good additions.

Well, I've been listening to 570 in the car on and off, we sound a ton more physical...maybe to pysical. I like it.

Missed some inside shots, need to make those....mostly typical exhibition game stuff that hopefully will be corrected in regular season.

DWU made the run, geesh. A 3 at the buzzer to double our lead? I gotta say it again, I'm disappointed. Lots of excuses I can think of, none of them acceptable in my mind. I know I'm being harsh but I have my expectations for this team and being up by 6 against DWU doesn't meet them.

Here is hoping for a better 2nd half. 8-19 from the line. Too many fouls. Now, I realize the women only lead by 2 at the half and played much better in the 2nd half. I expect the same from men.

Wesleyan made a bunch of 3's late in the half to make it close.

Sargent makes a 3 at the buzzer to give the Jacks a 43-37 lead heading into half.

I'm not happy at all. We're either being lazy or they are matching us now. Score now 30-23. I'm probably expecting too much.

Coach has played more players than usual in different combinations. The talent level compared to last year is amazing. Once they learn to play together it will be fun to watch.

Moss with a breakaway where he misses the contested layup but gets his own rebound and putback, then has a big block on the defensive end to follow it. The kid has some hops.

Continuing to miss FT's lead was 31-25, then Moss with a missed layup but put it back to extend to 33-25. I'm looking for a run to go up by about 14 heading into the half.

I'm liking how active Moss is on the boards, fouled on the put-back and making his 3rd trip to the line. Makes one of two and its 31-23.

I'm on a Mac. Video is choppy (women's game was fine) probably my Mediacom connection. Have I mentioned that Mediacom... um... they're not good.

At least they carried the Cal Davis game. I have PrairieWave and gues what, I get the USD/UNO game. Lucky me, heh?

Signed up for audio/video package and can get audio, but no video. Darn! Probably that darned Vista. Oh well, I can still listen.

I'm on a Mac. Video is almost impossible to watch it's so choppy (women's game was fine) probably my Mediacom connection. Have I mentioned that Mediacom... um... they're not good.
