Something to be aware of is this list was created by an AAU coach, and many of his players on are this list.

Is there a better list somewhere?

        Re: 2007 Recruits

The list itself probably has all the top kids in the class, but the order would cause a great deal of debate, like a lot of lists I suppose.

The order is subjective no matter who makes it. I don't focus so much of the order as who's on it and maybe who should be on it.

Point taken. Possibly add David Scott, Dubuque, although he has a long way to go, he is 7'1 about 300 lbs I would guess.

              Re: 2007 Recruits

In a interview with the Martin Brothers (AAU Team in Iowa) the coach indicated that guard Elijiah Miller of Galva-Holstein has made an unofficial to SDSU and should learn if Elijiah will be offered by the Jacks by Jan 1.

Jacks will have an opportunity to go out and sign several players in 2007 with Hein,Frias,Kleinjan,Berte and Beran graduating.

Did anyone else notice on the story about Heien that he is a soph.?  I was thinking he would be graduating in next year with Beran, etc.  Very interesting.

He played two years at Mount Marty, that would have to make him a junior. He is listed as a junior on the roster.

I just came across this on the Argus Forum, here is a link an article from the Rapid City Journal about Louie Krogman from White River . Putting up some pretty awesome numbers for a sophomore, I'd think the coaches must be following him since he is an in-state kid.

Woody Orne of Fairfield who is on the above list from the class of 2007 in Iowa is evidently getting interest from Columbia, Marquette,Iowa Schools,Ill State and SDSU.

While the Landon Scott experiment didn't work out his former school Iowa Western CC continues to produce good players for DI programs. Maybe the Jacks will look here again in 2007. I think Nagy will continue to focus on high school seniors however like most DI programs we can always add talent from Junior Colleges. Interesting under the alumni they list Landon Scott as going to the University of South Dakota?

I totally forgot about Landon until he was listed in a different post. I did a search to see what he did after leaving State. I noticed the USD mention but I don't remember him playing for the yotes.

He did not believe the USD reference was an error.
