that said, if he decides to take advantage of the moronic NCAA Juco eligibility fiasco, leading the country in rebounding will likely have plenty of schools with bags of cash lining up. apparently, he finds Hendo to be a "good bloke," and hopefully he sees that he fits beyond perfectly with this team. he has some very valid reasons to stay here if he decides to remain an "amateur." would those reasons be good enough to make him take a smaller bag of cash?
it is real real fun to imagine what this team could do with another year of time together. that said, it seems unrealistic to imagine Wilkinson coming close to replacing Oscar, but this group of guards is only going to get better!! going forward they will have a chance to be successful even with less dominant play in the post.
it feels to me like the bison have a very good team. beating them on the road shows big improvement

My two cents...
Cluff is already as good as gone. I can guarantee that the big schools have noticed what is happening, and they will be throwing 7 figures at him.
Let's just be grateful he came here, and cheer for him and the team the rest of the way.

I wonder how William Kyle feels about his decision to transfer. If it was purely a money grab he's probably OK, but he is playing less than 10 minutes/game in conference play. In 20 games he has taken 42 shots. I have to think this has not been a good move for his development.
William Kyle was a difference maker here but is playing a pretty limited role at UCLA. There are others in that same position.

So if that is true, then yes, what would it take to keep Oscar Cluff in Brookings for 1 more year? The Zen philosopher Basha once wrote, 'A flute with no holes, is not a flute. A donut with no hole, is a Danish.'

They granted this while filing to appeal the court ruling granting Vanderbilt QB Diego Pavia an additional year of eligbility.

Just like it’s best to enjoy Cluff while you can, you better do the same with Hendo. The sky’s the limit with him. If this team keeps rolling (whether or not they get to the NCAA Tourney) he’s going to have some big offers.
Awesome game last night!
