  • GDT: SDSU vs NDSU 7pm Scheels Center SLN

Tonight's game in Fargo will place the winning team a game out of first place. The Jackrabbits will need to watch the shooters from the arc as the bison lead the country in 3 pt attempts and makes. The bison took 48 shots from the arc against UND. Moni is the leading scorer with 22.4 in conference and 19.9 overall. He shoots over 50% from the field and over 43% from deep. There are 4 other double digit scorers on the team. Richman has tightened the rotation in conference. There have been more like 7 in rotation than more. The bison did lose their first 2 home games in conference and UND played them close in Fargo. It would be a great time to start the road win streak after the Jackrabbit win in KC. Go Jacks!!

Going to be a battle. It always is up there against that team. Even when we are good, and they are middling, they play us tough up there.

Hopefully the Jackrabbits continue to grow, win or lose. It could be a tough one with all our youth playing up there, so it's going to be good for them to get that experience.

i would make a slight adjustment to your very valid post. these two teams, with very few exceptions, play each other tough ANY time and ANY place.

also, can i see a show of hands from those of you who predicted that there would be a day when an ndsu MBB would lead the conference, let alone the country, in either 3 pt attempts or makes? i am stunned

i will go ahead and predict that this will be a hard fought interesting / entertaining game. curious anyone knows the spread. i predict margin of victory to be 3 or less

Zimmer made mention of this on NLA. He said something like Dave is just letting the kids play.

ESPN has spread as NDSU -2.5 and O/U 155.5. ESPN Analytics says 60.8% in favor of NDSU

Should have asked you for a O/U prediction on points, LGR. Omaha game was 160.5 and overall score was like a point under. Maybe Vegas is learning about Hendo's defense. Both teams are averaging something like 80ppg

I haven't watched NDSU men this year. Are they still doing the horse**** defense where they beat the ever living **** out of people and dare the refs to call a foul? Eventually, the refs get sick of being so one sided so they either start calling made up crap against the better team or swallow their whistles and let things deteriorate into an MMA match. Just curious.

My guess is the physical foul them until they call them.
