For all the inexperience we looked pretty good until giving up a bunch of points to let them tie it at the half. Our defense is good. Offense will get there. Freshmen mistakes were there. Mors has more speed with his off season weight loss.

Fun game, and good win against a highly regarded team. Several players deserve kudos, none more so than Oscar Cuff and Joe Sayler. Several others played well or made significant contributions.

McNeese was making it really hard to get the ball to Oscar, and doubling hard when he did get it. That was a very good, physical defensive team. Tyler said they were 6th in the nation last season in creating turnovers.

Didn't show in the stats but the weight off Mors makes him seem a lot faster. Oscar is a beast, double up on him at your own risk. I think we're going to have some real depth.

Agree. Mayo is a very good player, but this team will be 10x more enjoyable to watch. Ball movement vs one guy bringing up the ball and four guys standing around watching him. Four players in double figures and fifth with 9 points. There will be struggles but this team will be fun to watch in the SL.

How about zero turnovers in 34 minutes for a true freshman point guard in his first game which is also against one of the highest turnover causing teams in the country? Doesn’t seem possible. Not to mention the dagger 3 with 20 seconds left. Incredible game for Larson.

Cluff will be a force in the Summit needed him owning the glass last night.

Hard to not get a little excited after watching that.
