Who's your accountant? If his NIL is $800,000, assume $80,000 to agent, leaving income of $720,000. Indiana has a flat income tax which combined with Fed leaves him at about $450,000. That' not insignificant. Even with your crummy accountant, $300,000 isn't insignificant, especially to a guy in his early 20's still enrolled in school.

Cluff is getting 700-800k. Iowa State was out as soon as they got the commit from the other big. The discord's only rule is no screenshots to twitter, so please don't post these there. Don't want to spread $$ misinformation, since that probably doesn't help SDSU's case.

That kind of money kills the need for college stars to leave early and take their chances getting into the NBA. College basketball is becoming more professional than the NBA and its development league.

This should be about attending college and representing your school. What we have now is just professional sports, but they make you go to class to stay eligible. Why not just make a new organization similar to the G-league where you have to be a certain age to play, since these kids could obviously care less about their school or education.
I agree 100%. There needs to be some sort of structure.

Straight CASH homey! For all of us working stiffs, $100k would be a great life starter at age 20 something. We all know how hard it is to SAVE any amount of money at that early age. I love my Jacks but if it was offered to me at age 20, I'm taking it. I'm investing it and at age 40 when I look at the retirement fund I have nothing but the biggest smile on my face and at age 60 when I look at the retirement fund again I start to giggle. Even $100K is life changing IF done correctly.

assumption made: invest $100K at age 20 (no more contribution ever), 10% return, at age 40 = $700,000. at age 60 it is worth $5+ million. You gotta love compound interest. I think my giggling would be out of control.

I heard Brooklyn is passing up at a minimum of $100K by staying. (Maybe she is getting other money from other sources to make the sting more bearable)

Good to see Peterson is searching for an experienced PG.

The experiment at the end of last season of just having Joe run the point, did not work. I know he can handle the ball, but he's a shooter.

We need another guy similar to Owen, run the offense, stay calm get us into some sets, and knock down the open 3 when it presents itself.

Probably a good reminder for us all to respect our former players who transfer elsewhere.
