So glad I'm not a Bison fan can't imagine watching that scratch your eyes out ugly basketball every night. Credit to them for making us play their style 3 times this year but I'd watch exclusively football too.
Just an incredible team and an incredible run. Such a fun season and a great group to root for. This is the type of team that makes a run in the ncaa tourney. Not done yet!!

We handled NDSU's size very well. Tight, close, hard fought game. Better team won.

For funsies, I went over and read B-ville, just to read their reactions to the game.
Some of my favorite reactions:
The guy who said the Jackrabbits were playing 6 players during the game. (He posted this 3 times) ??
The group who thought the officials cost them the game. (unreal? Bison fans blaming the officials for a loss? What a shock)
The guy who said "If not for Easly, we'd have won by 7." If not for Griesel SDSU wins by 20? (see how easy that game is to play)
The guys who said "We will rule the summit next year (because they have Grant Nelson back). Obviously hasn't looked at the ages of the players on the SDSU roster.
And if you enjoy cognitive dissonance, check out the Bison Report live tweets of the game. Those guys are operating on another dimension from reality.
That said... Congrats to the Bison program.
Their coaching staff, and players are really good, and they do a great job up there. They are worthy rivals.

The bison did not stick around for the awards for all tourney team or runner up plaque. It certainly would be a painful loss, but they may have at least sent all tourney players to the podium. I did not read the bison tweets which may have explained everything.Best to remember these are kids and they are doing everything they can to entertain us, be scholars, and all in all be great humans. A few things that come to mind thinking back on last night:
-Arians successfully battling to guard Nelson in the paint.
-Wilson seeming to have found a higher speed for his dizzying post moves.
-Scheierman blowing by Rocky for a layup late in the game.
-“The Floater” by Zeke Mayo.
-Charlie - everywhere we needed him to be.
-The massive student sections and overall crowd intensity.
-The lack of green in the arena.
-Beau Brown’s big-screen moment! He’s still a legend.
-The way Hendo connected with the crowd in the last few seconds.
21 straight with the last two being rivalry games is just crazy.
