Was at the game. Big time 2nd half. Also good to see Noah out there. If he can get back to even close to his potential this team is likely the best SDSU team ever.

I think that could be said for all the top 5/6 teams. Oral Roberts hasnt exactly been playing two good halves or winning big. And Bison could easily have 4 more losses. Overtime both times against Western and once against usd. And a last second shot to beat usd. We have yet to trail any of our conference games at halftime although we have been tied twice. Every game is going to be a battle. If we get Noah playing regularly, i like our chances

I'm a bit confused by some of the responses here. I thought it was pretty common knowledge that Noah not getting to play had nothing to do with his ability to actually play the game of basketball. Now I didn't listen to the game, but it sounds like he came in at garbage time? So why now do we have people acting like he's part of the rotation and going to contribute in a meaningful way? He didn't get benched because he wasn't able to score the basketball. That's the thing that needs to be dealt with, not his 3 point shooting. Are we as excited that Fiegen and Gentry are "playing regularly" because they got the same court time as Noah?

It seems to be a lot of people haven't come to terms with the fact that Noah is no longer a meaningful part of this roster. This team has gone undefeated in league without him. Time to accept that and move forward with the guys who are putting in the great efforts both on and off the court and have earned the right to represent us.

Its not like Hendo has been really open about the time line and expectations it would take to get back into playing time. Seems odd he would only play him in garbage time for this game, when he could have several times. If he is getting a chance to earn minutes back that is fine, but would be nice to hear so people arent speculating anymore. If he gets to come off the bench as the 8th or 9th guy and can spare some minutes for the starters thats probably not a bad thing as long as he has earned the the coaches and teammates trust to play again.

Idk, seems to me Hendo hasn't said anything but he has certainly spoken by his actions. 2 total min of playing time in 13 conference games. Those actions speak plenty loud to me on Hendo's thoughts.

Not sure if you were referring to my post, but I didn't mean to insinuate Noah was going to be part of the rotation going forward. But, him getting some playing time last night seems to indicate that there is some improvement in whatever the situation is. Hendo has had multiple opportunities to play him in garbage time during the conference season and hasn't.

He hasn't played at game speed in 2 months. He's got the ability, but there has to be some rust. Maybe last night means nothing, I have no idea.

The team is 13-0 in the Summit and has a strangle hold on an out-right championship. I'll take that.

Watching the highlight of Noah on the team twitter feed, seems like the players all stood up and cheered when he made his first three. I wonder what the chances are that the players approached the staff and gave their support for Noah. You can't tell me that the players don't realize they are a better team with him on the floor.

Unless I heard wrong, this is the second best start to a Summit/Midcontinent season ever. It's pretty amazing that the team has not had enough of an off night to lose a game yet. That kind of thing happens to good college basketball teams all the time. It's probably coming, but with every win an undefeated conference season seems more realistic.

Running the table in the conference season and then getting through the SLT would take 21 straight wins. I wonder what the school record for a winning streak is? Seeing it through would be incredible but I would not be bothered if they drop a game in the next couple of weeks just to get a bit of a reset.

Thats the way I see it.

If Noah did something or broke a team rule that was so severe, he would have been kicked off the team or suspended all season. That didn't seem to be the case, but it was bad enough a couple games wasn't going to be enough time to correct what ever the issue was. If they said its been 2 months or the players are ok with it they could start working him into get some minutes. Plus it would come in garbage time. your not going to play after 2 months without working into some playing time. Not knowing what was done, I think it comes down to trust, can the coaches and team trust Noah. Even though it was garbage time its an indicator that he probably will be able to earn more minutes and more chances if they coaches and team trust me.

I would not turn this into a players vs. coaches issue. From my limited inside knowledge, that is not at all what this is. Let’s just stop speculating and reading into things too much and let the team figure this out. Happy to see Noah back on the court last night and I’m hoping we see more of him now.

I dont think thats what was meant. Basically Did Noah burn to many bridges? If they players felt like he crossed the line and were not ok with him coming back, the coaches would need to consider that amongst their own judgement of the situation. If they were cheering and seemed genuinely happy, thats probably a good thing for team cohesiveness.

We have seen to many times in sports where a player was a cancer to the team. This team would not be undefeated in conference play with Noah around if he was a cancer to the team. They must like him enough they didnt kick him off the team. In this small sample size seems to show a positive connection to Noah and the rest of the team.

I'm not turning it into a players vs coaches issue. But if part of the reason Noah was not playing was locker room issues, maybe the players could tell the coach that they have Noah's back and he has earned back their respect. My point was that his teammates appeared happy that he was back on the court. Am I missing something or isn't the point of a fan forum to speculate and have discussion on these types of topics? I 100 percent agree that we should not be spreading false rumors, but it sure seems like everyone is extra sensitive on this topic.

I respect the purpose of the board. I just don’t want it to lead to a false view of our coaches or players. I continue to trust both the coaches and players all want the best thing for him. They know what that is better than any of us. I’ll just leave it at that.

Baylor had a decent line again against Denver. He had 5 boards, 9 assists, 2 blocks, 1 steal, and 11 points. He missed the double double by 1 assist. It is a great time watching Baylor play and enjoy the game. I am not certain if he has a chance at POY. He is another key driver in the undefeated season up to this point which increases the basketball IQ of the Jackrabbits.

What a season this team is having. People are not appreciating how hard it is to do what they have been doing.

I was happy for Noah that he got to play again. (and it was great to see his teammates cheer for him)
