We look really anxious on offense too which is not good for an experienced team. Need the leaders to calm down and make some plays. Their dribble drive ISO we are having a hard time dealing with on how we switch and guard it. would like to see us try a zone to take way their driving lanes and plug up the floor a little more.

Need to play some consistent defense!

They are making some crazy 3s. Would like to see us settle down. Seem some anxious on both sides of the ball

From the last 6 minutes of the game toms are rushing their shots and we are playing with composure finally. They cooled off on those fading 3s. They were on fire against some good defense. Some was bad but some was actually really good they jusy made really hard shots. Thankfully its turning around.

Did not see us winning by 15 the way the first 32 minutes went. But we finally settled down on both sides of the court. Great way to pull out the win.

Need better defense. They need a hologram of Scott Nagy staring them down on the bench.

Tommies ran out of gas. They aren't a great defensive team to begin with, but it really showed in the last 5 minutes. Jacks went small for the last 5 minutes and it paid off especially on defense. Arians has strung some really good games together on both ends of the floor.

Good lord they made some ridiculous shots. Mayo's 3 uncontested flashes to the rim set the tone for the final run. That kid is special.

That looked exhausting. Crashing through those screens and being relentlessly pestered by a team full of honey badger-like defenders. UST definitely wanted that one BADLY, and I was impressed by their effort (not to mention five or six of those really tough 3’s). It was stunning how they could shut down the SDSU post game with those quick doubles. I thought we’d crush them in the paint.

It might catch up with the team at WIU, but I’m glad they had to scratch and claw back from behind. There will be more of those.

And now a tough trip to Macomb on 1 day of rest after WIU gets the night off and will be rested.

If Noah doesn’t play on Saturday then well …

Winning tonight is big. Going into Macomb after a loss would have turned the pressure up.
