Hate to harp on pandemic again, but I wonder if League belief is that splitting the venues can minimize potential of cancellations impacting both men's and women's teams.

Probably would not want men's and women's teams traveling together so one team breaking wouldn't automatically turn into two.

Also remember yesteryear tickets where like $10 and you got a DH.

Correct on the students. The dorms didn't open until noon on Sunday. I know a few students that wanted to go but weren't going to drive to Brookings for the game, then back home and then back to Brookings on Sunday. Would have been nice if they could have opened the dorms on Saturday.

$10 tickets were a long time ago. Not sure there have been $10 tickets in the D1 days. I do realize price is a big factor for those that dont have season tickets. If a season ticket holder cant make a game, its easy to transfer tickets to someone who cant go.

I agree. Not sure if the schools have to make a request to scrap the mirror schedule and play doubleheaders, or how that works.

Apparently, Hendo's a fan of doubleheaders too.

Listened to the Rabbit Rundown podcast, and they are playing doubleheaders with Omaha because there was an arena scheduling conflict with hockey later in the season when the men were supposed to play in Omaha.
