Especially Jenkins ... he spent significant time at SDSU theoretically formed a lot of relationships and bolted to greener pastures pretty quickly.

I’m sure he felt that he “under-committed” due to TJ but what did leaving for UNLV really do for him? Is he any closer to the NBA? Any closer to the NCAA?

He landed in the perfect situation for him when he came to Brookings. Playing with a 3000 plus points scorer who constantly drew double teams, plus the rest of the starters were good enough scorers that they couldn't be ignored. He became the ideal second option. Much different situation moving a step up in competition in Vegas. Watched parts of a number of UNLV games, and he often seemed to be the smallest player on the floor. He was listed at 6'2, which seemed to be generous. That lack of size wasn't as big of a problem in the Summit as it seemed to be this season.
