I was discussing with a fellow Jacks fan how the Summit Tourney being "fan-free" this year could be a silver lining in that regard

      Yes I would think so.

OK, then I take my toxic comment back. Hopefully things will change.

Noah is a prize. He damn near ended up in Dayton with Nagy, and plays like a winner most of the time. He comes from a athletic family. His dad was a real pain in the arse for the Jacks when he played for Augie. I was surprised that he landed in Brookings as a Jack.

Great win. That second half was the best we looked since early in the year I thought. Hendo tight-lipped on Noah after the game. Just said that he’s a good kid, they love him, and they’ll continue to talk.

May good triumph over evil, resulting in Jacks sweeping the shaggies

I’ll take a split at ORU any time, especially short handed. That was some very entertaining basketball too. It was nice to see Mims and Easley step up and make a difference today.

Also, those Abmas Curry-esque NBA 3’s are impressive. So quick. That guy is unstoppable. I’m glad he’s USD’s problem next week.

It's easy to forget that the Jacks had gone two months without playing a road game. Combine that with the travel issues and having to bus an hour and a half yesterday morning, and a split wasn't that bad of an outcome.

I didn't ask this yesterday, but I believe the radio broadcast for the women's game mentioned half the women's team not arriving until a couple hours before tipoff on Sat. Do they deliberately split the team between two buses to facilitate social distancing on the road?

Hope we get Noah back. He’s a summit POY level talent. Not this year but no doubt in the running the next 2 seasons. That’d be pretty tough to replace. I trust Hendo in this position just hoping for the best.

Tyler said the men flew in Friday night and the weather was too bad to fly to fly into Tulsa. So they had to bus in Saturday morning and didn't arrive until noon, which means they likely couldn't get a shoot-around. Didn't say anything about the women, but you would think they are traveling separately..

The discussion I am remembering was between Brad Peterson and Tyler late in the women's game on Sat. I believe it was Brad who made a comment when AJ had made wholesale substitutions about it being the "late Saturday arrival" crew (or something similar).

I mentioned it here because you'd discussed disrupted travel

That could be. Tyler said he got bumped off the late flight at the last minute, but his luggage stayed on the plane.

Baylor Schierman had another great game on Sunday, too. 22 points, 11 rebounds and 7 assistants. What a stud he's turned out to be. Wilson was in the grove, too. He had 23 points, 7 rebounds and 1 assist.
                              This space for lease.

Sounded like Tyler's Valentine's gift from his wife was in it, and Hendo offered to check it out and send Tyler a picture. Haha

Speaking of Hendo -- the ORU "color commentator" Josh Salim mentioned at one point Sunday that he loved how Hendo was attuned to the team's mindset/chemistry in making adjustments and adapting to factors like Freidel's absence, so it's obvious that while a few of our fans don't appreciate him, at least some of the rest of the league sure does.
