Jacks really blow the last possession of the half. Terrible Orris turnover leads to a USD putback at the buzzer.

USD leads 49-43 at the half. Could've been a 2 point game at the half if the Jacks had any type of plan for the last shot.

USD is the worst 3pt shooting team in the league and go 7-13 from deep.
SDSU is the 2nd worst 3pt shooting team and go 6-14 from deep.

The way Midco talks, they make it sound like these two teams are the best teams behind the arc.

Huge mistake by Orris to end th half.

He had a couple bad turnovers in that half that were converted to points. When you turn it over that far out it's nearly impossible to keep them from scoring.

Every point is likely to be big today so that last freebie put-back is damaging.

Nice opening half, overall. USD has shot very well, Daum has not been scoring, the crowd is loud and yet we are within easy striking range. I have a (strong) feeling that USD will pull away early in the second half, but.... After watching SDSU vs. USD for 1.5 games this year I would have to say that we certainly will have a chance to take them out in Sioux Falls. Maybe it will happen yet today.

Maybe the zone D adjustment wasn't the best one. Tons of open looks for USD.

cause man worked so well in the first half. When teams are shooting this good it doesn't matter what defense you are playing.

USD has had a ton of open looks in the second half. Jacks are going under ball screens leaving guys wide open. If you're gonna play zone, the rotations have to be quick to at least contest the shot attempt.

But USD is starting to cool off. Hopefully the Jacks can respond.
