Don't put words in my mouth...k? This was a total team collapse, coaches included.
Yeah, saying if you can't run man to man against NDSU then gtfo followed by a coaching comment would never lead anyone to that thought process. I don't put choking away a large lead like that on the coaches as much when they use what got the lead in the first place. That's the players feeling themselves. Sorry.

So far this year it has been the offense that has cost us more games than the zone. They disappear for long stretches and turn the ball over just too much.

Make an adjustment, that's all. Any adjustment...try something.

Offense was terrible in the 2nd half. But the defense gave up 56 points in the 2nd half to a team that runs the weave...
If the offense was even somewhat competent in the second half, NDSU would have felt a little more pressure. Its alot easier for an offense to chip away when the other team couldn't hit water if they fell out of the boat.
Reed has to start making some shots from behind the three point line if this team wants to be more consistent on offense. I think the only thing we know at this point about Hess is he's going to be inconsistent. That makes Reed that much more important on the offensive end.
You keep switching them like the Jacks tried. Relying on your defense to stop them every time down isnt a winning strategy either.
You clearly watched a different game than I did. No, you don't rely on your defense to stop them 'every' time down. Giving up 56 in one half to Kentucky would be a lot. To NDSU...lol.
