Here are 2 teams that have had more success in the past than this early season. The Racers(5-6) are without a win against anyone on the road. They have 1 win at a neutral court and the rest are at home. The Jackrabbits are protecting the second longest home streak in D1. Junior Jon Stark-Racers 6' guard-is the leading scoring at nearly 20 points. He is shooting 43% from the field and 42.3% from the 3 pt line. The rest of the main players shoot 30%-39% from long range. They have a big 6'8" that is the next scorer at 13.8 points. The team shoots 44% from the field. They only average 12 turnovers per game. Our common opponent is UMKC. UMKC beat the Racers on a neutral court. The Jackrabbits have a great opportunity to continue to tune up the zone defense and keep the home winning streak alive. Hopefully we start to see some variations of the zone to curb the 3 point shooters from Murray State. Go Jacks!!
