Telly is really struggling again tonight. Has taken 2 shots and air balled them both badly.

Hopefully he can turn it around.

Yes. Anyone wondering why some of us keep asking when Flatten is coming back need only have seen the first 15:00 of this game. Telly has been in a major funk for weeks. The more subs we have for him the better.

FW is looking very much like the front runner so far. More than holding their own at Frost in spite of missing a crucial player. Their rebounding has been a killer.

Marshall playing well, but the offense still seems a little stagnant. There doesn't seem to be the cutting without the ball we saw earlier in the year. Perhaps a by product of too many jump shooters? Bittle is one of the best without the ball

                      Half: SDSU 39, IPFW 38.

Marshall leads the Jacks with 20 points on 7-10 FG.

Landis leads IPFW with 14 points.

Jacks -6 on the glass and gave up 9 o-boards to IPFW.

Jacks shot 49%, IPFW shot 34%.

Agree. Just generally doesn't seem to be much offensive motion away from the ball. Not nearly enough, anyway.

Jacks shoot damn near 50% and are up 1. Not a good sign.

Agree. Jacks need to get to the line in the second half. They probably won't shoot 50% again and IPFW probably won't shoot 34%.

Getting to the FT line will be huge. Only 6 points in the paint in the first half shows the Jacks are settling for a bunch of jumpers. 5-7 from the line while IPFW was 11-13.

Tellinghuisen with another 0-pher at the half. Hopefully he can heat up starting in the 2nd half.

And Nagy's tweet: "We are taking way too many tough jumpers and not attacking the basket. We need to make the tough plays for 40 minutes!"

FW was obviously the more aggressive, attacking team in the first half.

If the Jacks let them do that in the second, they could very well get beat in their own building. Jacks have to come out in the second half and really raise the aggressiveness level, especially on offense, get FW back on their heels a bit, draw some contact, get some fouls called, get FW into foul trouble.
