At Frost, with Bittle, and the rest playing at about 75 percent as a team, the Jacks beat these guys by about 20. That's how bad this is.
    Holy nutmeg!

Who knows, but they seem to be going in a different direction that we are. You did not notice the final score?

Not trying to spin anything. Just saying they aren't as bad as their record. Just like we aren't as good as ours.

i've always said...you basically start 10 points down on the road and 10 up at home(especially Frost)in conference...at the D1 level. We played a terrible game and lost by 7. Happens every year at least once. Problem is this is the 3rd poor game in a row. Need to get right before the next stretch.

1 positive: Great game Mike Daum!

The Jacks' throw-the-ball-around-the-perimeter style of offense hasn't fared well lately. Defenders don't give the Jacks many open shots or many open lanes to drive.

Given their performance OOC, if they do well in conference, that would just make the conference look bad, IMO.

Bad bad loss, to a team that can't get 500 fans to come watch them. Bad. Just bad. It's the SDSU way. Lose to inferior opponents, they should beat.

Wow, consider becoming a fan of Duke, Michigan State or similar if you get this upset by the Jacks taking a road loss in the Summit's best year. I promise there will be a couple more if we have senior starters out. No one is running away with it this year.

OOC record only matters come tournament time. Watching what just happened in that game, it would be hard to point out who was the conference favorite to a stranger.

That being said, Jacks need to get healthy and right the ship. They can't just rely on jump shooting.

Hard to argue with that. Moffitt looked flustered all night and seemed to want no part of putting up a shot. Marshall and Parks trying to do too much. IUPUI really took advantage of the size mismatch they had with Telly and had him in foul trouble all night. Safe to say that Daum was the only Jack that won his position match-up.

Last year the Jackrabbits were 1-2 after 3 games. They ended up with 4 conference losses. It might be a bit early to proclaim the hair is on fire. It would be encouraging if the team was healthy at this point, but there are still 13 games left to right the ship. Meanwhile continue to keep the shades pulled and hope the Jackrabbits are not the #9 team at the end of the conference season. It is also likely there will be no undefeated team in the conference this year. As a side story, did anyone notice that ORU is 0-3? Do you think they might want a healthy Emegano? How many people will predict they are the #9 team in the conference this year?

It's ONE loss very early in conference season. I think we'll be okay. IUPUI played a heck of a OOC schedule. They will win some more games. Garner is doing a great job their.

I'm getting tired of the offense ever since Bittle went out. SDSU went from scoring 75+ with ease to barley making 65 a game.

The team needs to re-group and get ready for a tough IPFW team. BTW, SDSU has yet to lose back-to-back games this season.

Bittle is the best at making sure there is proper spacing on the floor. He is what makes the other players on offense better. Also, why doesn't Moffit like to shoot the ball every night?

Agreed! Jacks are struggling on offense no doubt but the Jag's D is pretty salty. They are tough to score on with good size and quickness. They seem to be a team on the rise. They will no doubt be around .500 in conference IMO.
