Daum also might have gotten away with one on that board. I think we'll call it even. He's been a beast this game.

Credit Moffitt for shutting down Covington for most of the second half.

Agreed, but without George Marshall offense it would have been a Leatherneck blowout.

I think that's a really good team. They should have beaten UNO on the road on Friday and they played really well today. I think they'll knock off a few teams this year, and I'm not looking forward to playing them there.

Gritty win. The Jacks are having offensive issues right now, so any wins they can salvage are a bonus. It's a good thing we started off with these two games at home.

Daum might end up being an all-time great. I'm struggling to come up with another bench player that routinely has such an impact. We are set at the post for a long time.

An ugly win beats a pretty loss every time. The Jacks need Bittle back from injury and Telly back from funkville.

That makes more sense than I would have thought/ Bittle is a big part of this team.

By the way, this old guy had someone from behind tell him to sit down during the game. I was a bit surprised that someone who sits as high as I do hear someone say that. Maybe I get too excited during the game?

The one fact about today's game was the surprise that Covington who played 35 minutes did not commit one personal foul.

SDSU men only have one game over next 11 days, so Scott Nagy is hopeful that's the only one Jake Bittle will miss before returning.
