For someone that posts about how much Coyote fans mention the Jacks, it sure looks like the same happens here. You can't bring up a topic without USD being mentioned. We must really be in your heads, and the rent is so cheap. Sound familiar?
JACKGUY never said anything about the Coyotes. Get over yourself.

Agreed, nice that he had another chance to show his abilities to the Williams area crowd after being thrown into the fire as a freshman.

And let's be honest, it's fun that both SD D1 schools beat the Gophers in the same week.
True. It is a great thing in general that both of our state DI teams are at least competent in men's basketball. It is good for the state and good for The Summit League, especially for the conference tournament. I look forward to our battles with the Coyotes and the rest of the league come January.

Was at the game last night and listened to the boos at halftime from the Gopher faithful which is garbage. You don't boo college kids. The gophers are a bad team but still booing? That being said, Daum maybe struggled offensively but still had his moments. Theisen was very good defensively on #3 and #21. The yotes made #3 look like Charles Barkley. Hats off to Moffitt from me. Outside of a late turnover he was more than solid and very composed. Fun to watch. Parks? Eh....a lot of shots but maybe 2 bad ones, the rest I thought were good shots. Telly was very good offensively and excellent on King who is a complete disaster for a big10 PF. 26 min and 0 boards? King was very good too. Someone called him out for a bad foul, true freshmen comment. How about a break away steal and dunk??? I'll remember that more than a couple of fouls up 23.

Gopher fans were very complimentary of the Jacks. Felt the Yotes played the best game of their year and got the benefit of some officiating. I don't know about that but I felt good about our game before and the result was fantastic. I few did mention they were happy the Gophers didn't play an exhibition against Augustana either. 0-2 against SD was bad enough.
Nothing better than "motorboating" the Gophers!

I've been very impressed early how Jake has shot the ball and how Reed has rebounded. Many positives to this point but those two facets of this team have stuck out to me. Looking forward to seeing the team live on Sunday!

Impressive showing by the team, and great job by the coaching staff to have them prepared.

Honestly, led by 20 most of the way, and without Marshall? I'd have thought that was a pipe dream.

This is truly one of the best teams we've had. At least so far. And that's saying something. I think they could run roughshod over the Summit this year.
              (That's probably wishful thinking).

The Summit League is shaping up to be an extremely good mid-major this year. For the first time since joining the conference, our conference schedule could be tougher than our non-conference schedule.

On one hand I called it. On the other hand, I didn't have the intestinal fortitude to bet it. The Gophers are awful! Good luck in the Big 10!

                    Last night was very impressive.

I think I'm more excited about this year than before if that's possible. To go to Minnesota and get a W without your senior, first-team all-conference point guard would be impressive. The Jacks completely and totally dismantled the Gophers.

You have to love where this teams at mentally. Let's enjoy the rest of this season as it will be a special one!!! We need to get healthier but those knocks will happen.

Someone on the Gopher Hole had predicted that the Gophers would win 84-70 over SDSU. Must have misread the vibes. Was going to register so I could comment and got a severe warning from Kaspersky that it was an unsafe site, so didn't.

I just now had an inkling to register over there and tell them Bittle just hit another wide open three, but thought better of it!

I loathe everything Golden Gopher. Their fan base is full of entitled whiners who feel they deserve to be good, because of nothing more than it is the U of M. To see the Jacks dominate that game, at Williams was fabulous.

The gopherhole site is in full meltdown. So overall, I'm quite pleased!

I know it's a dream and most times dreams aren't reality. RealTimeRPI.com's game predictor has the Rabbits going 27-1 in the regular season. It sure is fun to dream.
