Playing really well. This is why this might be the best Jackrabbit team ever had: Depth.

Even with a first team all conference PG out we look like we haven't missed a beat.

WOW! That's about all I can say about the first half. This looks a lot like the first half at Illinois St, except that we are doing it without our MVP point guard. Impressive.

Halftime: SDSU 45, Minnesota 22.

Jacks were on fire most of the half.

Jacks shooting 51% including 8-12 from deep.

Bittle with 17 points. Parks with 9.

Minnesota shot 23%. Jacks +6 on the glass.

Need to keep the foot on the gas.

If, at worst, they revert to their season average for shooting in the second half it will be hard to come back against this defense.

Keep up the smart basketball and this could be over quickly.

Couldn't have played a better half. Don't settle for 3's in the 2nd. They need to get to the rim.

Bittle had a couple dumb fouls while Theisen got his annual 2 fouls in the 1st half.

Play good perimeter D, and the Jacks should have this game wrapped up.

Yeah, the Jacks need to stay aggressive. It seems to hurt the Gophers' spirit. We'll see how good Pitino is at rallying his troops for the second half. He got his players inspired enough to tie the Coyotes late in the game and send that game into a couple of OTs before his young team folded.

Daum and Thiesen are not in the scoring column yet. That should change in the second half. Bittle has been the impressive senior in the first half. Jackrabbits need to close the door on the Gophers. (UMKC leads the yotes at half in Vermillion????)

Pitino may not last the half. Jacks just need to take the mini run to start the half and settle.

Sometimes I think Parks feels left out when someone gets hot and tries to catch up.

This is the first time I've really seen Daum struggle on the offensive end all year, which is odd because he's played better post players than this so far.

First charge was a questionable call. Last one Daum was planted well outside the circle for a solid second or two.
