Ugh. Glad that is over with.

Silver lining is that this game really doesn't change anything and hopefully refocuses the squad for the more important games ahead.

Usd way over performed and their last game way under performed. Watched some of the denver game and had the feeling that they were waiting to play us. That's what I like about sdsu is beating usd doesn't make the season. My guess is they lose the first round. I will be impressed if they win their first round game.

Poor effort by most of our guys IMO. Seems the coaches gave up too. Should have stayed home and saved $40

I have no problem with the USD students storming the court. It's nice to see some enthusiasm! Frost gets pretty quiet with a lot of people waiting for things to happen. You could hear a pin drop in there when USD was up big early in Frost. It's college basketball it's supposed to be about having fun, it's not church.

The Jacks three perimeter players shot 6-30 , and most of the six were in the first 8 minutes. Have a hunch that practice won't be fun this week.

Nagy said pretty much exactly that in the post-game remarks.

Unbeaten at home in conference play all by double digits. That doesnt happen by being quiet. There are reasons for storming the court and apparently beating SDSU is their only reason because none of the other reasons will ever happen. I suppose you were ok with the carrots back in the d2 days

I'm fine with them storming the court. It does highlight the difference between the programs though.

We played terrible. I'm not worried though. Nagy will have them ready.

I only got flipped off by three USD fans which is down from last time I was in the dome.

That was pretty bad. I'll never understand how, with 120 games in a college career, players can ever lack energy. We had none. USD, to their credit, played very well and with a lot of energy. Lost in all of this is the reality that USD made some pretty big strides this year with their new coach. Time for the Jacks to step it up.

Court storming? Meh. They won, and it mattered a lot to them. You can't blame them, although I'm trying to imagine who SDSU would have to beat at home to get a court storm. Duke?

Yeah we had both mens and womens teams win each confrence game by 10 or more. So frost has a pretty good home court advantage. because we care about every game and not just a rival game. Sdsu most games plays to certain level. Especially at home. Usd doesn't. To bad they didn't try to beat denver the same effort they gave to us.

Every year SDSU has made the NCAA tournament, the Jacks have lost in Vermillion.

The Jacks beat USD anywhere outside of the D-Dome. It was nice to see that their "fans" care about 1 game at least.

Would this be the 2nd time USD has stormed the court against SDSU? That is way it will always be difficult for their men's team to compete for a league title.

SDSU will be favored and will be ready in Sioux Falls.

USD's got jokes. Adding insult to injury after the game, these were given out at Strollers (USD's version of Capers I believe) Screenshot_2015-02-28-19-12-03.jpg

It's too bad we could not get Larson some help today. He had an amazing offensive game - getting three defenders in foul trouble and putting up a big double-double. Someone else had to step up. Parks, Telly, and Marshall missed more than 20 shots. That plays right into the hands of a transition team. Worst-case scenario.

It is what it is. On to Sioux Falls with that #1 seed in hand. The scores from Thursday/Saturday tell you that it could get crazy there.

Horrible defense. Deserved to lose. Disappointing and embarrassing.

Silver lining - USD has to win every once in awhile in the major sports to maintain the rivalry.

Also, should end the seed speculation whimsy. Gotta win the tournament before that talk.
