Jacks shoot 52% overall, including 9-13 from deep.

WIU is also shooting 52%, but is 5-13 from the FT line.

SDSU has 9 turnovers, compared to 4 for WIU.

Jacks are +7 on the glass.

It's nice to see Severyn start making a few 3's. He was a great shooter in high school and seems to have some confidence issues shooting this year. Shooting is contagious!

41-36 SDSU at half.

Jacks giving up over 50% from the floor to WIU and have 9 giveaways, yet shooting has bailed their overall poor performance in the first half.

Severyn and Flatten came in and gave good minutes and effort to end the half, so that's encouraging.

Parks has 8 points, Larson has 8 points and 5 rebounds, Bittle has 7 points, Severyn & Telly with 6 points.

Odd half; Usually a team that shoots like that from 3 is up 15 at halftime.

Hopefully the defense and turnovers tighten up in the second half. Covington leads WIU with 15 points.

Would be nice to mix in some occasional defense.

Just a little would make this a blowout similar to the one in Brookings last month. The shooting has been amazing and WIU missing all those FT has helped as well.
