No "moral victory" today. This was a winnable game that the Jacks let get away. The 13-0 UNI run in the first half, and the atrocious 3-point shooting to start the game really didn't help very much.

No kidding. Nagy singled him out in post game remarks. Said he expected him to be a top scorer and is not sure what is going on.

One definite positive I see is Horstman's game. He seems to have come along way in the last month. Much more aggressive now. He looked flat-out scared to shoot in that FGCU game at the Pentagon.

Rod Pattison. He also did the Kaboom when he was working for KMIT/Kool98 in Mitchell, when he did high school and DWU games

If Bittle continues to be a non factor perhaps time to cut back on his playing time and start Reed.

Hopefully Coach Nagy can give these guys the vision he referred to in the post game comments. It would be great to start the Summit with 2-0 on the road at Denver and NDSU. That would brighten the outlook and vision quickly.

The piece that the Jacks seem to be missing is a true power forward with some size. Horstman is playing better , but he is really a 3. It's too easy to double Larson when there is no other inside presence. A player like Dykstra , and he wouldn't even have to shoot the three like Jordan did , but be someone who could post up and take some pressure off Cody.

Thiesen and Devine go 0-5 from the field today as well. Each had some inside shots that did not fall. Hopefully the game in Denver will get these guys on track again.
