The WIU foul situation and the FW loss have put us in great shape to charge into second place. It would be a shame to not take advantage of the opportunity. Up 5 with 13:00 to go and WIU has 6 fouls. It's there for the taking.

Dykstra starting to take over. He's been aggressive in the lane. Just converted a hoop and the foul. FT coming after a WIU timeout. FT good.

It didn't look that bad to me, but there was elbow to the head.

There was contact with Stengaards elbow and Dykstra' ear. Dykstra fell to the ground holding his head at the time. The refs looked at it and determined there was enough for a flagrant. I couldn't see close enough whether or not that was a good call.

The rule states something about contact above the neck with an elbow. Doesnt have to be intent.

The refs suddenly realized that WIU had way more fouls than SDSU. They are in the process of changing that!

It sure would be helpful if one or two of those White 3's would go in. He's had some good looks. Thankfully Dykstra is having a monster game.

We are on the edge of pulling away but can't get over the hump. A 10-point lead with 4:00 to go would be pretty big against their grinder offense.
