I also think the strategy of not "voting ourselves out" during the first round deserves some discussion.
No doubt. The championship round ends on March 16. Hard to imagine many wanting to keep up this pace every day for another 32.5 days. It's a marathon. Slowing down a little probably wouldn't be a bad thing.

This pace probably won't win later rds as schools get more serious, but we're setting the pace now(#1).The next four rds are 6 days long,no break between rds beginning the day after the day the previous rd ends.....starting at 12:00 am....sooner or later,as the stakes become higher, it will become day and night voting.....jus say'n,are you ready for that? It's basically a contest of wills. No use being in this thing except to win. It's a game now,but it will become a grind I'm afraid.Just want us prepared is all.
Got to keep the voters energized, there'll be a lot of pep talk too,we've proven already we're the school to beat once we get the machine cranked up and moving, but it's also about energy level, strategy(like conserving energy when things look in hand w/o getting caught flat footed),communicating when we have to step it up in a timely manner, and which school is dedicated enough to out work the others. The last 2 rds might have to be be all-out effort to advance. And numbers, tell everyone you know to get involved and vote.
1. I agree with others. We need to pace ourselves here and not burnout in Round 1.
2. Need some motivation? Head over to Bisonville and read their thread, which is mostly about our surge.
3. As stated by others, if we survive a last minute voting surge to make the next rounds we are going to need a lot of help. If SDSU is really on board with this, we need a huge PR push from them. Students, alumni, and fans will need to help to keep us in the game.

Carry on!
Can we post a link for the motivation? I could use some with the site being all messed up. slowing my voting.
Good morning Jackrabbit Land...another day...a Jackrabbit Day!! Here we go again. Not sure how the next week goes. Hammersmith said something about brackets, so not sure whether the next round is just top eight finishers, or if it matches up schools 1-16, etc. Guess we will find out...but that's next week. For now, have been at it awhile, and we are now #5...a good way to start the day!!
Got a hint of this on the Ark St message board, the poster stated about "whoever we are matched up with in the next rd".Must be seeded too,1 vs 16,2 vs 15,etc?Daily vote winner? We'll see.
Sorry, but please explain the "unlimited" CAPTCHA voting again. cant seem to get it to work
Do not use the option for an email address. Fill in the 5 characters for the "captcha" in the space provided immediately below and hit submit at the bottom. Then close the remaining box. Then go back to "vote" on the Jackrabbit and repeat.
Best to remember these are kids and they are doing everything they can to entertain us, be scholars, and all in all be great humans. Jackedforlife

1. Click vote under sdsu
2. Vote now
3. CAPTCHA phrase should appear.
4. Type phrase ( I believe case sensitive) and do not add email address
5. Submit and should get a box saying thank you for the vote.
6. Repeat steps 1-5 for 8 hours straight.

I should clarify that you had hit the vote button on the Jackrabbit and then hit the vote now on the next page that appears. Then the captcha appears with 5 numbers or letters to copy in the field immediately below. Click on that field(box) below to enter the 5 characters into the box and then hit submit on the bottom.
