He's having a huge year so far at MSU too. Granted D2, but he could have competed at SDSU.

Eh. He never was too impressive, IMO.

But he would've been a true (experienced) point, correct? Something we lack this year.

I dunno. If we are simply missing open shots, not much having a point will do about that.

Didnt Jordan shoot like 1-6 on threes last game? I don't think he's ever shot that poorly in his career.

          Tough game tonight for the Jacks, neither teams looked all that great. Few things I saw and noticed;

Carlson is good player but he is being asked to do quite a bit. He would be a good 2 but being asked to handle the point and play defense is wearing him thin it seems a bit. Definitely not the ideal situation for him and the Jacks. Larson looked pretty good tonight, could be a bit more aggressive but a nice piece the Jacks added. Dykstra had a tough night but battled. Its tough for him to succeed when the Jacks shoot as poorly as you guys did. He saw lots of doubles tonight because of that. Heemstra and White looked awful.

Texas Tech is not very good and definitely a game the Jacks would like to have back. Whats the deal with Bittle? Is he not capable of running the point? Seems like he could do what Carlson is doing at the point and you would be able to slide over Carlson to the 2...

Bittle is out for a couple weeks...don't recall the injury this time. He's shaping up to have an injury plagued career.

              Brayden Carlson: 37 minutes, 14pts, (4-11 from 3), 1 (!!) assist. Oof.
Chad White: 11 pts, 5 TO (!) in 35 minutes.
Jordan Dykstra: 7 pts on 3-12 FG in 30 minutes. Did have 10 Rebs though.
              Zach Horstman: 2-9 FG, 0-5 from 3, 6 pts.
Connor Devine: 5 Blocks in 16 minutes.

Team: 14 TO to 5 assists. 34% overall. 20.7% from deep. Yikes.

RO you idiot! That's a great thought, never even thought of that yet. I was always a fan of his thought he was gonna be a savy point.

Damn. Seems like we really need Austin Hansen back!

C'mon disco. His ceiling was playing 8-10 min. off the bench and not screwing up.

He was a quicker version of Broman.

Smaller, worse shooter. I'll hear your argument if Broman has to transfer to Kato to get PT

Had a healthy swagger, floater in the lane, and he could even dunk.

We'll discuss the next time you're in Brookings, if that ever happens again.

Well, at least we didn't shoot as bad as we did against Belmont last year. These next 2 games are winnable and i expect that we do win them. We wont (or at least better not) shoot as bad as we did tonight for the rest of the season. The real season starts once conference play starts. We just need to have some confidence and have our 4 seniors step up. I still have faith in this team.
