BINGO. I am an old guy, but have worked with computers since 1969. I have no idea what TK is implying or maybe he is looking to argue some more, like he did with Nate not being drafted.

I don't argue Nidaros, I debate. The debate was never about whether or not Nate would be drafted. Check the thread.

For the record, I am impressed with your computer skills. They are far, far more advanced than my in-laws and a lot of others I know. Hell, even some of my clients still don't use e-mail!

My comments regarding gas prices were personal, and I can't help but think others may be thinking the same. I was on the fence regarding basketball season tickets, but with a 1.5 hour drive each way, $4 gas pushed me off the fence to the "no" side. Mitchellrabbit you are correct, gas will eventually go down again once the Chicago and Indiana refineries are back online. But, they will condition you over the summer to get used to high gas, so that $3.75 feels like a bargain.

Seriously, some of you guys needs to lighten up and not be so confrontational all the time.

        ...

I started this thread. My concern about the online selection process was not affected by any "anti-computer" mantra (I assume you intended the word "mantra" and not "montra" as used in your post). The online method for selecting football season tickets had problems and in many instances, the problems were not user-related.
I prefer the option of purchasing tickets and conducting all variety of business online but one’s preference and the level of one’s computer skill and desire to work with computers means nothing if the online mechanism for selecting seats fails. The ticket office needs to know that problems occurred (I have been told they are aware of the problems) so that the problems can be addressed and remedied.

In my opening post in this thread, I was being sarcastic about the announcement of online purchases of basketball season tickets being a warning. Even so, the announcement about online seat selection was good information because some, like me, will figure out a work-around rather than risk having the system fail again (e.g. I’ll consider having someone personally appear at the ticket office at the designated time to select seats).

Good one! At least you show you have a sense of humor. (That was your intent, wasn’t it? When I read the above, I instantly thought YOU need to lighten up and not be so confrontational.)
