Bingo! There is one recent and successful transfer. There is the possibility that we are due. He did have a link with his brother Garrett already in the fold, but it is possible.

The Jacks have had a lot of good players who were transfers, in addition to Griffan Callahan. Included are some all-time greats. Chris White, Steve Lingenfelter and Cerci Mahone, for example.
        This space for lease.

Just par for the course when dealing with them

Have Broman redshirt and counsel him. Before you know it Larson would be reciting scripture

Its not all about basketball as many point out. With the right moves Larson could really play some inspired basketball. They wouldn’t need to be patient/doctor relationship or anything, just get know each other

                Just IMHO, of course . . .

He asked for it. I wasn't being serious initially but he asked for it

Irregardless of who the young man is; it would be the coaches managing these situations. There may be some expectations of team cohesiveness, but I am certain that most young men in their teens and early 20's would be less than qualified to lead anyone to an expected social awareness that was not already coherent to a level of reasonable behavior. The coach/player (or doctor/patient) is right where I would expect-coaches. If there was a family member who would be a stabilizing piece-that would be a plus. Coaches will control the environment or the team is at the wrong school or vice versa. With 4 incoming scholarship players, it would seem a logical decsion to bring in an upperclass transfer person. Meanwhile is there any high octane Juco players out there with a passing interest in SDSU?

Griffin Callahan, was it Jose Frias? the JuCo recruit from New York I think he played in 05-07 but I could be wrong.

Why would either committ to each other when the NCAA states you must be enrolled before we can determine that? It seems that the NCAA is making it very difficult for both parties (Cody Larson and SDSU) to determine their future. I'm not a strong believer in hypotheticals, but in this case it seems logical and would allow the school and the student to make a wise decision.
Yes and yes and he does/will. I still have a great deal of concern about how this is going to be handled and just what his addition will mean to team chemistry. It certainly has helped pick up the activity on this forum. Should be an interesting summer.

Burgundy over on the Bison board suggests that Larson will be a Jackrabbit if he gets a waiver. Otherwise he will go to Moorhead St (D2) so that he can play right away. Burgundy, as much of a homer as he is, is usually spot on when it comes to 'who is going where'...

                              FYI on Taevaunn Prince:

TV said that Nagy & staff are working to find a school for Prince. Not sure if he'd get a waiver to play right away if he transfers to another D-1 school, but it seems that SDSU would certainly support his request for one.

Burgundy might be close to a staff member at UMS-Moorhead, and if so inside info is leaking out. I tend to believe Burgundy is on to something.
