CJ Carr visiting Sept 28th for the NDSU game according to a retweet by TV. That will be a great game for recruits to be at.

Some of the comments I've heard recently is best recruit out of Minnesota for 2014 outside of the big 3 (Tyus Jones, Rashad Vaughn, and Reid Travis), best shooter in the state of Minnesota, one of the top "pure shooters" for the entire 2014 class.
Sounds like we will be able to scratch J.P. Macura off of our list soon. GopherHole.com interviewed him and it is sounding like he prefers schools where he will be able to contribute at right away and higher profiled schools. His short list sounds like Minnesota, Creighton, Xavier, Purdue, and Iowa State. He expects to have his choice nailed down in the next few weeks. He would have been an excellent commit had we gotten him early.

Odd recruit, there are a few every year. I looked at his film and didn't think much (low/mid D-I recruit tops), and then he exploded this summer. I believe Iowa State would be best for him as Fred Hoiberg (the Head Coach and Mayor of Ames) could really improve his game.

Don't know if this is the right place to ask this question but here it goes. I heard yesterday that Pierre's 7'2" Josh Monroy, who played as a freshman at New Mexico Highlands last year, is enrolled at SDSU. Can anybody confirm that?
When you put on that jersey, the name on the front is more important than the name on the back.

He's been out of State's reach for a while now. Kansas State offered in the spring time and the high major offers kept coming. As a Gopher fan I hope he goes to Minnesota. He'll be a solid 4-year player for them.

Lets wait for confirmation before we go into the history of this young man. It gets complicated in a hurry.

According to a posting yesterday, SDSU offered Tyrone Taylor recently. He is a 6' 3'' point guard from Grand View, Missouri.

Well, if he is at SDSU, he shouldn't be to hard to spot, should he?

No at 7'2" he should not be. Could he be a walk on perhaps? Unless he can move like some of the NBA centers, we would appear to be taking on a project. I Know little or nothing about this young man. Hopefully he can contribute or maybe he is done with BB.
