62-53 Jacks. Carlson back at the line for 2 more. Makes both 64-55

        Re: GDT Western Illinois

Heemstra's play with Fiegen on the bench and Dykstra getting a rebounding double-double against WIU were key. Wolters was fantastic.

Wow what a game. Had heart in mouth more than once. 30 in a row has a nice ring!

Darn I say heemstra was co mvp with wolters. His baskets and movement and passing and ability to work when getting the pass was huge when he was in. Fiegen had a tough go but made it tough for parks. That's the dkystra we need and expect. Hope he takes that play with him on the road.

Awesome experience! The most fun I've had at a non-sioux falls SDSD game.

Hats off to Nate and Tony, it just wouldn't have been right for them not to win their last home game. Lots of exciting, meaningful basketball left for those two.

Marcus Heemstra has earned his stripes today. There should be no question about his ability to give quality minutes at crunch time. Fantastic crowd at Frost for the game and the salute to the seniors held everyone's attention from start to finish. There was a good showing from the students even with a long weekend. It was definitely worth the price of admission. Omaha Mavs remain in the conference for the Jacks to finish business. Go Jacks!!

Once heemstra leans not to foul he will do a lot of good for us next year. He can score just hasn't had a lot of chances to this year.
Plus his passing game will really help out next year with nate gone.
