Lots of interesting chatter about what might happen. I was referring to what has happened, what we know. If you choose to ignore that and refer to those that acknowledge it by suggesting they are "jumping of the bandwagon" I'd argue that you aren't in touch with reality. It will take a near miracle for this team to bus from TN to NM and even compete for a moment with a very good New Mexico team. Based on recent performances the Jacks will not be favored on the road at NDSU, OU, WIU and likely even at IPFW, UMKC and USD. Should still be able to defend home court. Top 3 in the Summit will be a great finish based on the current state of this program. I'm on the wagon and aware of what direction it is heading.

Jackmd is right, even though its not easy to hear. Someone earlier complained that Bison fans expect to win all the time. I'm disappointed Jacks fans don't feel the same way, because it seems as though it hasn't been detrimental to the Bison teams.

          I'm still on the bandwagon.

I'm just complaining about the bumpy ride.

I suggest if you like that kind of attitude there is this site called www.bisonville.com. Go there and enjoy. There was also a discussion before the game about probabilty. You might read through that too. You dont always win and many fools have found that out at local casinos and other places. Why expect the impossible? I will take the rough buggy ride any day and stand behind our guys, they are after all 18 to 22 years old. They try to do their best every game, and what more can we expect? I buy the explanation that they were coming off an emotional high by winning in Montana. It hit bottom when Nagy switched to a zone defense and Belmont got their three pointer, and then the wheels fell off. Could any of us done better?

Oops, excuse me, am I trespassing on your site with my opinion? You seem to be implying some level of ownership and/or editorial control.

Not a problem, and I am not a moderator just making an observation about our neighbors up road. Having been around awhile I remember the NDSU rifle team happen to have a match with the SDSU ROTC in the mid 1950's on the day of the men's basketball game, and few Bison fans traveled in those days. Maybe because of no I-29, plus it was a week night game. Those rifle guys sat behind me and boy where they vocal. Not many of them maybe 10. So I suppose NDSU has had high expectations for a long time.

The thing that concerns me comparing this year and last year are the number of close games. We could easily have 2 more losses (UND and Marshall), although I could say the same thing about two more wins (Hofstra and Alabama).

Some of this might come from the fact that we are no longer doing the hunting....we are getting hunted. We get most teams best shot.
It has now happened. Wonder where all the fans that exited are.

Most are finishing their Christmas Shopping. I saw bunch of them on 13th Ave in Fargo. Thats how depressed they were.

If resurrection is a miracle then yes.

W I also know and believe that those who are most vested in your success are willing to be critical when criticism is in order while those that are impartial or in it for their advantage are there when times are good and absent when they aren't.

Today's game exactly what I hoped would occur, miracle or otherwise. I watched every minute of it and feel fortunate that I could.
