Wolters and Fiegen pretty much seal it with a court-length pass and a lay-up. Nice play. Dykstra's block was big also. It looks like we are going to survive.

Wolters's stat line wasn't bad, but you could see he was having lots of difficulty moving laterally on that ankle. Quite frankly, he was a liability on defense today, but was worth having him out there to run the offense. Overall, a gutsy performance by Nate.

hmm interesting.. Well it seems we needed him to win the game. I really have no guess how this tough road stretch will play out.. Hopefully we will be runnin' near 100 percent

I thought CSU-B played great. Williams kid had hardly shot before this game. He played great. Had he played his normal game, we would have played a lot better.

We played better in the second half.

Films are showing that the way to play these guys (us) is to grind it out because we're not playing good defense.

TYLER COMMENTS ON SHOOTING PERCENTAGES

Nagy we shot 26 free trhows and they shot only 3 We force people to put their hands on us. Teams shoot an average of 26 free throws on them and that's what we did.

Main reason we won was because of the free throw line.

JORDAN DYKSTRA...

Being 6-8 kids, moves well, we can switch some things other teams can't. We switched a lot tonight. First half wasn't work but I tell our guys its how hard we play and clear in the first half we didn't play hard. In second half, we played with a lot more life.

WOLTERS:

I thought he was moving pretty good tonight. My guess we won't have Horstman back for next road trip. TeVaun still not healthy and not moving well but we need more time out of our bench.

CARLSON:
He's working hard and working through some confidence issues. Right now he's shooting like he's wishing it'll go in but just needs to let it go. But, it'll payoff for him.

STUDIES AND A GRUELING ROAD TRIP...ALL THREE TEAMS IN NCAA TOURNEY LAST YEAR

Yes, tough trip...won't come home here for a month. Can play great in all those places and not win a game...we understand that. Just not a good flow to our team and cannot put my finger on it but it'll come around. Road trip will be good and will help us bond.

Defense is the answer...being committed to that...wanting to be great at it. Its the thing that can consistently be there because offense won't be (consistent). Everybody gets praised for offensive but offense can only win ce3rtain games but if great defensively, we'll score a ton of point. But other teams see it...grind it out in the half court....

I disagree, disco. Nagy's always maintained we have to step up the defense and the offense will be there. Defensive intensity is the missing element so far. We find that intensity and this team can stop most of our opponents and get another trip to the NCAA.

How do you set up good shooting and good passing? Defense. The biggest difference between the 2010-2011 team and 2011-2012 team was defense.
