    Re: Alabama

Pretty in-depth, broke every topic down nicely. I liked it. However, does anybody know how many steals per game Wolters needs to average per game to break the steals record?

Just in case anyone missed a good article by TV in yesterday's Argus, "Can SDSU dance again?" here's the link:

SDSU men at Alabama, 8 p.m. Friday, ESPNU
The Crimson Tide return four starters from a relatively young squad that went 21-12 and made the NCAA tournament last season. Guard Trevor Releford - a Kansas City, Mo., product - is an all-SEC performer. He’s flanked by a couple of 7-footers.
Alabama was picked sixth (out of 14) in the SEC preseason poll, but is ranked 35th in the KenPom preseason rankings. That’s 14 spots ahead of SDSU.
The Jacks have never faced Bama before, but did take on its coach – Anthony Grant – when he was at VCU. Grant has brought that same uptempo style to Tuscaloosa.
“We’re going to have to take care of the basketball - that’ll be the big deal,” SDSU coach Scott Nagy said. “If we can’t, we’re going to have a hard time beating them.”
As of now, the Jacks plan to play true freshman point guard Jake Bittle and redshirt classmates center Connor Devine and wing Matt Donlan. That could change if there’s an injury. Right now, everybody is healthy and available, according to Nagy.

Alabama did struggle to beat Tillman College. Tillman is a member of the Southern Intercollegiate AThletic Conference. - I don't beleive they are a D1 program? Sounds like they lack in a little depth and that should be one of our strengths. I think the Jacks win this game and get the season off to a great start.

Nate is at 135 steals for his career. His best season was last year when he had 59. The career leader is Jermaine Showers at 226, so Nate would have to get 92 steals this year to set the record.

                        Re: Alabama

My prediction. Sdsu wins. Wolters late fts to seal it score 22 but dykstra starts off hot nailing 5-7 from 3 and causes bama to move its bigs out to guard him which opens up the middle for wolters and co to drive the lane and get some ft. Dykstra shows off his new frame and goes for 25.

Alabama didn't exactly blow the doors off in its opener against Stillman. Jacks win by 5.

They may have confused us with the other SDSU.
