I always say there are 3 areas when determining a redshirt

    1. Do they want to red-shirt. I believe if they don't want to, they shouldn't have to
    2. Can they help? If they can help the team, they shouldn't red shirt
    3. How much can they benefit from a red shirt? If there is no real benefit (Taevaunn Prince last year for example, 20yr.'s old, physically ready, etc.) they shouldn't redshirt

Thats just terrific ! I think how last year ended for him (summit championship/baylor) really fueled his fire. Gonna really be lookin forward to seeing him on da court

This team has a chance to be something really special. Like we have never seen before but what we hope to see again and again in the future as it gets better still.

Does anyone know where we can watch media day in its entirety? I know TV posted Coach Nagy's segment but apparently that is all he was able to record.

Love the quote from Nagy in todays Argus article.

“My dad (former Illinois assistant Dick Nagy) has been here this week, and he said in the halfcourt you hardly even notice Nate now because the other players are so much better,” Nagy said.

I alluded to Horstman's injury in this post. He may need to redshirt because of his back injury.
