We're missing way too many 3 point shots, too many turnovers, too

You aint kidding. I wish now that we weren't playing and DII schools. For one they are better than a lot of the DI schools we play, and for two it makes us look bad to lose to a DII school. I get so much more crap from my friends if we lose to a DII school then I ever do if we lose to a DI school. I understand that it was probably too tough to fill out a complete schedule of DI teams in our first year and we had to play some DII teams, but hopefully that won't continue.
I actually said in earlier posts that I wish we still played USD, but now I'm really glad that we don't. We wouldn't have anything to gain from that. If we win, then we were expected to because we are DI, if not then we look stupid for losing to them.
Hopefully we can regroup and play better tomorrow. When is the last time we've been beat that bad in Frost?

Wow, this one is pretty hard to swallow. Personally, I'd rather we didn't schedule any DII teams this year, cuz this is embarrassing. We'd have stunk a lot of the NCC up this year. It's unfortunate that the program had it's initial showing in DI at the same time it's on a rebuilding down-cycle. This team badly needs a JC infusion to compete next year.

Re: Wayne St. and Wayne St.

The way the scheduling was going early on, its a wonder we have a full schedule that includes a bunch of D2 schools. I would not rather play the D2 either, but last night's performance just was not a good one and no matter who we played, it would have been a blow out.

I think holiday's can be detractors and maybe that is what we have here. I dont think Wayne St Neb is that good. They are well coached. Coco Burkett who played for UND is student of McDermott(Now UNI head coach) and Glas so he knows how to coach against Nagy and apparently his team was ready to play. SDSU was not.

Disappointing. I have to keep reminding myself that this was going to be a down year whether we were DII or DI (or NAIA). Patience.

That is a very good question, I dont recall a loss by this big of a margin since 1986, which was the first year that I moved to Nebraska and was able to be come a regular at home games.  We need to get our media guides out on this one.

Went to last nights game. Wow, did we look terrible. Like the rest of you, I have to keep reminding myself that this is a rebuilding year.

I have to disagree with some saying that we need a JC transfer to come in and give us a lift, unless he's a big man. The team does not play well together. The addition of a JUCO, imo, would not fit well with this team. Maybe if we already had some leadership and a sense of teamwork, but not now. Spacing is horrible, people seem to be standing around, no excitment from our players. The only people with any fire are Nagy and Larson. Someone on this team needs to step up and be a leader, get the crowd into the game, get in the other teams head, etc. Holdren seems to be the only one who plays with a little hop in his step. At this point, the only players that I think should see the floor are Holdren, and Beran.

                              What this team needs:
Someone besides Holdren needs be able to take the ball to the hole.
                              An inside presence.
                              Capable gaurd play.
                              Patience.
