It snowed for about 15 min. - just a dusting the roads are clear.

Don't expect much crowd from the south today. It is really coming down here.

I know huron got a good amount so far and SF is starting to really collect my bad visability and poor roads. if it moves east any brookings will get some or if it says the way it is maybe they miss out if it goes south.

Visibility between Sioux Falls and Yankton is awful. I'd say it's about 0.75 - 0.25 of a mile. North of Sioux Falls is better, alot better, than the south. This storm dipped a little further South than anticipated which is why Brookings is not getting hit at all while Sioux Falls, Yankton, Mitchell, etc, are.

From what I can tell, the storm dove to the south . . . Basically from around Flandreau to somewhere in Union County along I-29 is getting it pretty good.

Here in SW Minnesota,it started snowing hard around 11:15 am,and I would guess we've had around 3 or 4 inches in 3 hrs. Looks like it is about done, but the wind is starting to pick up.

Reports from anyone in Brookings at 4:30 p.m. will be appreciated. We'll make a decision whether to drive down from Watertown...right now, it looks like a "go".

Light snow, not sticking to the sidewalk or roads.
