        Iowa Barnstormers

Couldn't find much on Matt. http://hsiowa.scout.com/a.z?s=163&p=8&c=1&nid=5838632

Theissen appears to have offers from Drake and Northern Colorado, although he could have picked up more lately.

Okay so I have some "inside" information that there is a 6'5" kid from Pine Ridge who has been doing good. He was recently named an all-star at the USD elite camp. He doesn't have any offers yet, per se, but the Dakota Schoolers wanted him to play with them in Minnesota this past weekend (although I think the plans fell through.) He will be a junior this year and I'm pretty sure he will start to get offers in the future. Definitely needs some work but is a nice player so far and I don't like throwing names out there because people call me a West River and rez homer but hey, ballers come from anywhere! Here are his highlights: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uRPAcuChQLE

I haven't seen him play in person, but based on that video he's a D2 player at best. He needs to grow 5 more inches or become much more athletic. For instance, our starting shooting guard last year was 6'5 with Brayden and our point guard was an inch shorter. He's still young so he'd have to be a late bloomer. Nice high school player though and he passes the ball well.

Interesting story on Lohaus and his dad. I thought I recognized the name, but I never imagined a name like Lohaus being associated with point guard. His dad Brad played in the NBA for nearly a decade as a 7' post player who could shoot.

If Wyatt continues to grow, he could ultimately be a highly skilled and versatile player. It is also likely if that happens that he could be wearing a Hawkeye jersey like his dad.

Agreed with everything. He is an incredible passer and has good touch, but just not a D1 player.

Michael Finkle has offers from Wisconsin and Iowa now (as well as about 12 other mid majors) Nagy was the first 1 to offer this kid.

Is it me or are we tremendously more active, and earlier, for this class, and if so, is this primarily because of the Big Dance appearance?

I disagree that we are more active and earlier. All D-I programs are recruiting years in advance, and SDSU has been this active in the jr. soph, and freshman class in past years. I just think the Big Dance appearance makes it more likely to get public. Most of the reporting comes from either the athletes, their coaches or their AAU/summer team programs. In the past I got the impression a SDSU offer, or SDSU interest didn't catch the eyes of those unless it was the only D-I program, now it does.
