      Re: 2014 Recruits

South Dakota St. has offered Marcus Bartley a 6'4" point guard (Decatur IL) per his AAU coach. He played for the same team as Michael Finkle who also holds an SDSU offer (as well as a bunch of much higher offers)

I'm confused. Did he accept the offer, because the article link says he was offered way back in July?

He must have been offered again or something. This was a tweet from his AAU coach Gavin Sullivan. @PeoriaIrish says that Northwestern, UWGB, ND-State and SD-State were all in to watch him today.

Just for clarity, this video is on Anders Broman who is a 2013 recruit. Good video!

                          Re: 2014 Recruits

I guess this is more of a "prospect" more than a recruit but Spencer Eliason, younger brother of current Minnesota player Elliot (who was offered by SDSU), grew from 6'2" as a freshman to 6'8" as a junior. Last year he averaged only a couple of points per game but this year he is averaging 13 ppg and tonight he had 14 points for Chadron at halftime against Gordon-Rushville. G-R has 12 points as a team. At his rate of height growth and game improvment, I wouldn't be surprised to see some of the same schools who recruited Elliot back on the phone with the Eliason household.

Michael Finkle who is from Illinois committed to Illinois today, South Dakota St. was the first D-I to offer, but since he had gained a handful of high mid-majors and a half dozen or so major conference offers.
