It is, however I think ESPN helps. 99% of the students know who ESPN is, plus the team being solid helps as well. noon hurts though, its one of those games where I could see 3K I could see 5K+Originally posted by RowdyRabbit View PostComment

It would be really cool to have the same type of atmosphere as we had for the USD game. Of course, some of that depends on the game. I hope the students bring their fat heads again this time.

The ticket office has offered free tickets to all SD hs basketball coaches and their teams. Coaches just needed to send their roster to the ticket office and would be able to pick up their tickets at the pass gate. The tickets are good for the women's game as well. Unfortunately our team was already committed to working an elementary tournament and cannot take advantage of the opportunity. Hoping to record the game to watch it later.Comment

Thought it was against NCAA rules to offer free tickets to prospective athletes. Assuming since free tickets are offered to all SD players and coaches, it is OK. Anyone know what restrictions, if any, apply?USD FanComment

Its fine, many athletic program do it with high school teams. As long as its a whole team or offered to the whole team. If you are only giving tickets to the kids that you are recruiting it can be counted as a visit. However what many will do is find ways around that.Originally posted by hareball View PostComment
