  • NDSU

Alright guys we got a big one tomorrow night as NDSU is gonna come in hungry looking to avenge the loss in Fargo. They were blown out by UMKC this past weekend (somehow) but also managed to defeat the Coyotes by 11 in the Dome. This has always been a tough game for us regardless of the records.

It will be interesting to see how much energy the Jacks come out of the gates with. The past three games there has not been much energy to start the game. With us being at home and a big rival coming to town, I hope that isn't a problem.

Also, this could be a preview of the SL Semi's ... so get to Frost and be loud!

I was going to say 5,000 but I can see this. Can't be any lower than that. Should be full house.

I (fortunately) needed to go to Brookings one day this week for work. Which day to choose was a no-brainer. I'll be there.

There better be 5,000. We had 4200 for ORU and this is our rival.

For me, the top two conference games are/were ORU and NDSU. The Buffalo bracketbuster game on ESPN is a special attraction because its nationally televised and that is reason enough for our program to show off Frost Arena full of fans.

I agree with YanktonJack7 and his completion of NoVaJack's quiz: any crowd less than 5000 would be considered inadequate. But, I won't be shocked if we don't hit 5,000 on a Wednesday night. Lots of competition on Wednesdays, the most notable of which is it's church night for a significant number of fans. So, here's a thought: lets pray for a crowd in excess of 5,000!

Mrs. JackJD and I will be there.

                    Re: NDSU

I thought it was Ash Wednesday tomorrow for a second, but that is next Wednesday. I'd say 5K at least, if weather is good, looks like it won't be bad, could see 5,500. I had planned on going, but I have way more important things Thursday so I figure I better stay home.

You have to be crazy to be a Jack's fan and not be there tomorrow. That stated, I won't be there and it is killing me. I've been in denial for 3 days trying to figure out a way to be there and it can't be done.

I will have to catch the bits and pieces I can on WNAX. Unsure if I'll DVR it as the announcers last night were so bad I'm inclined to boycott MidCo SN. Gonna be a great game.

MD: DVR it...you can always use the mute button on replay. I appreciate the chance to watch the games and am glad I have Midco for that reason but those announcers last night....ugh! (Serious question: was the female announcer a former USD athlete? I listened to just enough to remind myself to not listen to it [sounds like something Yogi Berra would say.] Just turn up WNAX. I thought JJ did a good job.

I like JJ, but I wish he would give the score more often

I'm afraid 5,000 will be stretching it for a Wednesday night game that will be televised live in much of the region. 3,900 might be more realistic. Hope I'm wrong.
