Kent St. is now co-tied with Buffalo and Akron for tops in the MAC East. MAC EAST has feasted on MAC west this season, with very few west over east wins.

When we played Cen Mich a couple years back, its kind of fuzzy, I read in the program about Central, how competitive they were in their division of the MAC , IRRC, it said they were 7-9 or somehthing like that and now I am beginning to see why and as you said the east has feasted on the west. I suspect the strength in the MAC has been in the east for some time now. No doubt we will get a tough opponent in Buffalo, but if it were one of the Michigans, I would predict a victory for the Jacks. With Buffalo, who knows.

A few years ago, maybe 5 or 6, kent state beat us by like 50. FWIW.

We have come so far in the last couple of years that comparing the years would be dumb because the Jacks are so much different and better than 2 or 3 years ago. Its not even comparable.

Thats correct. Apparently Kent is one of the better MAC programs. If not for the miles of travel, NDSU and SDSU would have done quite well in the MAC, maybe put new life in the west divison.
