    This loss makes Saturday's game much bigger. You don't want to be on a 2-game losing streak with ORU coming to town. Things would get interesting in a hurry if that were to happen.
    That's why winning tonight would have been huge. Even worse if we lost at ndsu.

      That sucks.

      The announcers on the internet stream were horrendously bad. They referred to about 3 or 4 people as Brayden Carlson.

      The refs looked bad.

      What a **** night.

        I'll take blame for the loss.

        Earlier I commented on how good of a job we did on Bader last time we played Oakland, so I definitely jinxed us.

          As I write that I look on ESPN and we haven't rebounded as bad as I thought.

          On second thought, guard Bader. Frick.
          I would say late fts is what has hurt us the most.

            Tough loss, I don't know if it's because I was playing with the daughters the entire game, but man that was fun to watch.

            Not much you can do when someone on opposing team shoots like that, he had some open looks, but half of them he had a hand in his face.

              For some reason we can allow guys to have career nights way to often against us.

                I still think if we win Saturday night we will still get a televised bracketbuster game.

                    Anybody listen to what Nagy had to say after the game? I missed it

                      The only part I caught was Bader didn't beat us, our poor rebounding beat us.

                        I'll go ahead and say Bader beat us.

                          I'll second this.

                          But I'll also add that Valentine's illegal picks helped out a lot. He hipchecked the Jacks defender everytime Bader went of one of his "screens." If I was Coach Nagy, I'd be asking the officials to watch for it if we meet up with them in the tournament.

                            We played a tough team in a tough environment and came up alittle short tonight no time to hang our heads I thought they had just enough home court advantage to pull it out. I think Nagy's already game planning on the next big game IPFW.

                              I'm going to hold out for "The Jacks Beat Themselves." They didn't make the plays they needed to make to win the game; Oakland did.

                              Bader: Jacks cover him even a bit more (or, alternatively, the refs call even a couple of those moving screens he was using to get open from Callahan) and they win;
                              Free throw shooting: Jacks shoot a decent percentage--and connect on more front end of one-and-one's, and they win;
                              Field goal shooting: Jacks hit a decent percentage in the second half, they win;

                              Free throws killed us more than Bader did: OU outscored us in free throws 23-13. 3-pointers were 14 a side, even with Bader going off.

                              Jacks beat themselves more than Oakland beat us. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

                                I agree. If you allow a one-dimensional player like Bader get that many chances where he is squared up and he just has to catch and shoot,bad things are likely to happen. That being said,if you take Bader out in practice and let him shoot unguarded threes,he wouldn't shoot that high a % very often.
