Keep ORU off the offensive glass. That's how you beat them.
“I used to be with it. But then they changed what it was. Now what I’m with isn’t it, and what’s it seems scary and wierd. It’ll happen to you.” — Abe Simpson
That is true, but wasn't that their 3rd game of the week including a trip to Michigan? They played with more energy tonite, not good. Maybe we can pull a UND on them!!
Yes, which evened it out. I will have no problem when ORU and SUU leave the conference.
Not even close to the UND game IMO. If Carlson and Callahan don't get in foul trouble, it is a different game. Not taking anything away from ORU. But it wouldn't have been 20 points.
A relativly close game after the half and the final 10 minutes they go off shooting all over and we can't buy a bucket and nate plays well with no help and get blown out the last 10 minutes. To me it is the exact same. Just a better opponent tonight.

Agree. Keeping them off the offensive glass would certainly help. But, that is easier said than done. ORU is so athletic, long, quick and good that I don't think anyone can keep them off the glass. ORU has three really good players and a quality supporting cast. They will be tough to beat even in Frost. Whomever beats them in conference will need to play a near perfect game and catch ORU off just a bit.

Didn't the Bison shoot 70% and still fall by 8? We will need to play near perfect at Frost and they will need to have some issues when we again meet. Right now ORU is on a roll though it is early in the conference season and anything can happen. Time to move on to USD. If this team responds as they did after the UND debacle USD could be in for a very long night.
This does seem to be a perfect fit for ORU and since its their last scheduled visit to Frost, it would be fitting when we take the lead on the score board or at the end of the game when they are down 20 pts, but it raises a number of questions
1. Does Frost have the capabilities of uploading You-tube videos? I would assume yes would be the answer.
2. Would SDSU have to get permission to use the video? No doubt this song is copywritten all over the place.
Apparently we have permission ot use the Hooisers clip, Foot Loose and all those other videos
3. Would be unethical for a secular and state supported institution such as SDSU to pick on a faith based school such as ORU?
It might be kind of seedy to do this.
4. Would Morrison and Roundtree be intimided by this video? Seem like it would take more than this to get to them guys. They seem to have a great deal of self-esteem.

ORU is good, but the law of averages will catch up to them - there is no way a team can shoot that well over a sustained stretch of games, especially when they take a lot of threes. If the Jacks can rebound better and eliminate the second chance points, they can beat the Golden Eagles.

The law of averages alway's benefits some other school, like IUPUI, or UMKC,etc....that's Murphy's Law.......hope not this time
