I would say at least half but probably more like 75% of the Yotes board would actually be quite happy if I switched allegiances. They have lost enough fans throughout the transition, what's one more.

What a shame! they would loose your critical analysis, such as the AD pandering to generous donors and not to average fans.

Well it is reported by TV that 1,500 tickets remain for the game next week. Does the USD fans plan on not showing up to the game?

The Dome holds around 8K for basketball. If they sold every ticket, I'd be damned impressed.

That's a lot of seats but still a lot available. I bet the Frost would sell out. I know many people that didn't get tickets.

Ya thats true. Didnt USD have some special promotion where they boughts three tickets and one of them included the USd-SDSU. It will be interesting to see how many SDSU fans are there. There was hardly any USD fans at the frost.

I'll be going with about 3 or 4 other people. Haven't really talked to anyone else, though. I'm guessing it being on a Thursday will hurt. But the USD fans I know that came to Brookings and stayed for the whole game said they still got back a reasonable time. I'm hoping for a lot of SDSU fans.

Are all seats "reserved" at the dome? I'd definitely be interested in going if I knew I would not be stuck as the only SDSU fan in a section. I have to admit, though, the thought of sitting way up in those football seats (1/2 mile from the court) does not soud too appealing. I have a hard time thinking of a worse place to watch a basketball game.

I have a hard time thinking of a worse place to watch a basketball game.

I watched the USD-WIU game from the football seats. Granted I was in the middle of the court, but I was probably 15-20 rows up and it was a pretty good view. Obviously not Frost, but not as bad as I was expecting.

The last time I went to a sdsu game there the seats were horrible. As much as want to support sdsu I won't to it again at usd. Worst basketball venue ever.

I somewhat understand this attitude, but I think it would be a blast to celebrate an SDSU win in the Dome with lots of other SDSU fans. Plus, you'll get to see a rabbit thrown onto the court! It will assuredly happen in this game.

I think (and hope) you may be wrong on your prediction about a rabbit being tossed onto the court. While I'm sure current students have heard and read about such events, not many have witnessed it (I imagine some were taken by parents to games many years ago). I hope USD officials keep a close eye on those entering the facility just like the SDSU officials did for the game in Frost. The Summit League's office will not be happy with such an event: the League is building its image and bush-league antics like that are best left in the past and laughed about over beers.

I/m guessing it would be easier to get into and hide, but if the security is as tight as it was in Frost I wouldn't bother trying it, I think you would have had a better shot getting a deer rifle into frost then a coyote or rabbit
