Not sure how accurate this guy usually is, but check out his 2013 Mock Draft.

Re: Naters Gonna Nate
If Nate can manage to average 20/5/5 for the first 5-10 games this year, it could get absolutely bonkers.
If he could somehow get to 25/6/6, I could see the amount of attention he receives reaching Jimmer Fredette levels.
Enjoy this season folks, it is likely to be a long time before we see something like this in Brookings again - if ever.“I used to be with it. But then they changed what it was. Now what I’m with isn’t it, and what’s it seems scary and wierd. It’ll happen to you.” — Abe Simpson

Re: Naters Gonna Nate
Don't think anybody has mentioned this yet, but one website has Wolters rated as #20 on the 50 best players in college basketball for 2012-2013. Here is the full article:http://www.thebiglead.com/index.php/...2-2013-season/
20. Nate Wolters, PG, South Dakota State – Averaged 21.2 ppg for the Jack Rabbits. If it hasn’t happened already, someone will compare him to Jimmer."This is your life and it's ending one minute at a time." -Tyler Durden

Re: Naters Gonna Nate
I think part of Jimmer's fame was his name and the school. Weber State had a guy drafted I think 4th or somewhere around there and I don't really remember much hype about him, a little bit but nothing much.
He will get attention if he has a great start, but I don't think it will come from ESPN, it will come from NBA scouts.
As far as mock drafts, NBA is by far the hardest to predict a year out, they don't know who is declaring, they don't know a ton about the freshman who usually make up the bulk of the lottery and they don't know much about which European players will declare. All mock drafts are hard to do a year in advance but the NBA one is really difficult.

Re: Naters Gonna Nate
I think the comparisons about Nate and Jimmer are a little stretched. Jimmer is a jump shooter that scored 30 ppg (his senior season) and used the offense to set up his shot...when he lost his big man (due to the sex scandal) he AND the team struggled. Nate creates his offense by making everyone else better, when he spreads the floor on the offensive end with his passes the lane opens up and his balance and in"nate" ability to control his body helps him create his own offense and feed off making everyone else better. If Nate's shot improves and he ups his scoring to say 25 a game, then it becomes easier to compare the two...the point is...Nate does so much more then just score, he plays every aspect of the game at a high level and facilitates for the other 4 on the team while still getting his own...
I wouldn't trade Nate for Jimmer in 10,000 years, what I mean is the PG is the QB of a basketball team...and I would rather have a facilitator that runs his whole team, then the impact player that still has to rely on his PG to feed him the rock.

Re: Naters Gonna Nate
And this is college basketball. The fact that they are both white guards from small schools ups the comparison factor.
And as much as I love Nate (favorite athlete of all time, possibly), I would trade him for Jimmer, just because Jimmer is a better player.Originally posted by JackFan96Well, I don't get to sit in Mom's basement and watch sports all day
