I'm sure he'll verify whether I interpreted him correctly.

Personally, I don't mind the Bison fans showing up at Frost being a little liquored up. It adds to game atmosphere and keeps the Jacks crowd on their toes as well.
    Bingo, you got it.

I believe you are correct. I recall one game where the band had to do a couple of practice runs on the Army song: The cassions keep rolling along, seems like it was a military appreciation night of some sort. I was surpised, but surely they would have known Anchors Aweigh, if not as a veteran of US Navy I would have felt insulted.

UND's school song is the 1978 hit Who Are You by the British rock group The Who.

See, I always assumed it was one-hit wonder Jann Arden's tune "Insensitive"

Exactly. The pep band uses the same playlist as when I was in high school, 30 years ago. Star Wars Theme? Really? It's 2011.
              Holy nutmeg!

What he said! Our pep band doesn't stack up well when you see the other schools at the Summit League Tournament.

I always think it's funny when I head into a thread thinking one thing and the thread is completely evolved(devolved?) into a completely different topic. The good news is I don't think the pep band plays "The Beach Boys" any more, and I believe the Pride didn't play it this year either. That is completely embarrassing to me when that went on year after year after year....
With fans like this who needs enemas.....

The Beach Boys huh...they played Surfin' USA at the last game I was at. I'm too young to know if that is the Beach Boys or not but I'm almost positive...

“They’re going to be the most talented team we’ve played thus far,” Jones said. “They have difference-makers in (Dykstra and Wolters). They should honestly be playing at the BCS level, if they wanted. That’s how talented they are. They’re unselfish, tough and share the ball."

Does the UND coach think Dykstra and Wolters should be playing football?

I think you're right too although there's a distinction. Most universities seem to have two school songs: one, a peppy "fight song" and the second, a more somber "alma mater". Who Are You is the fight song and Insensitive must be the alma mater.

Okay, give the guy a break...he meant at a major, not a mid-major, and many refer to majors at the BCS conferences.

So does that make Seton Hall, Marquette and DePaul BCS schools
